Job Description

Responsible for taking customers orders, preparing and serving expertly crafted beverages in accordance with the CAF standards and other products to customers in a friendly manner, resolving customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any questions or comments that customers may have.Ensure all equipment are in good working condition and an immaculately clean store all the time.

  • Deliver a friendly and efficient customer service by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for CAF customers in order to retain and attract customers and maximize their satisfaction.
  • Interact with customers, introduce new and Limited Time Offer (LTO) drinks/ products, receive orders and answer customers questions regarding coffee blends, preparation method, and ingredients.
  • Stay customer focused and nurture an excellent customer experience and develop a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks ?etc.
  • Prepare and serve hot & cold beverages in a timely manner, while ensuring consistency in the preparation process according to the CAF recipe standards.
  • Ensure that the assigned area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for preparing beverages and serving customers.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant?s preventative maintenance programs
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation by constantly cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Assist the Team Members in taking orders and serving various food items to customers, where applicable.
  • Report customer complaints to the Shift in Charge/Supervisor to ensure the successful resolution of the same and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Inspect working conditions and temperatures of all bar equipment such as Espresso machine and grinders, freezers, refrigerators, heating equipment, coffee maker, etc. daily; disassemble and clean machinery on regular basis to ensure proper functioning of the same.
  • Monitor stock levels, keep track of items? stock in order to avoid any shortage of stock, replenish food supplies and condiments and maintain inventory stock level and notify the Shift in Charge/Supervisor for food shortages.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the store by following the cleaning checklist and cleaning calendar.
