Job Description:Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in assembly, installation, and repair of pipes. Fittings and fixtures of heating, water supply waste disposal systems.Assign tasks to suitable skilled/experienced plumbersReport regularly and directly to the mechanical engineer as required.Co-ordinate the day to day implementation of planned preventative maintenance.Ensure accurate records of all maintenance procedures are kept and up to date.Assist plumbers as required in both hands on and training roles.Supervise two or more full-time employees, or their equivalent, on a regular basis.Make material and labour estimates.Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materialsIdentify required tools and special equipmentSelect the type and size of pipe requiredSupervise installation of supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipmentSupervise assembly of valves and fittings, Installations, repairs and maintenance of water treatment equipment, piping, and controls etc.Supervise installations and repairs to underground storm sanitary and water piping systems, sinks, tubs and toilets, water heaters and conditioners, plumbing fixtures, appliances etc.Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaksSupervise scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixturesParticipate in sharing of knowledge so as to mentor and train other unit members in areas of maintenance to enhance their developmentISO implementation of Quality Standards.Support all corporate HSE and ensure HSE compliance for whole company and all sites to include waste management support and controlTo comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by ARH.SkillsDesired Skills:Ability to resolve complex problems and implement solutions EducationDiploma in Electrical Engineering Experience:7 Years? relevant experience in the respective field
