Sr. Digital Learning Implementation SpecialistJob DetailsDepartmentSchool ImplementationReporting ManagerDigital Learning Implementation Lead PrincipalJob LocationOn-Site Schools; HQ Abu Dhabi, UAEJob PurposeThe Sr. Digital Learning Implementation Specialist works closely with assigned DILIP and DLISs to develop growth plans for other DLISs through training and building learning communities. They work closely with their fellow DLISs with retrospective session/focus groups to reflect on monitoring OKRs progress using digital tools available and to share best practices in key responsibilities. They do this in addition to their DLIS day to day tasks with a reduced portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

• Support other team members by leading learning communities on how to meet related OKRs
• Builds and maintains customer relationships with school leadership team and teachers to facilitate the effective usage of the Alef Platform
• Trains school leaders to support effective usage of the platform, the platform data, and other features such as the Academy
• Facilitates and supports the collection and analysis of student and teacher data using a variety of tools to identify gaps and suggest solutions
• Communicates complex customer needs and problems to senior leaders, recommending strategies and solutions

Platform Utilization & Long Term Adoption

• Lead retrospective session/focus groups to reflect on monitoring OKRs progress using digital tools available
• Drive change management and adoption of new education strategies, content, and product features, maintaining a theme of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
• Reports product issues and problems competently and with appropriate urgency to support sustainable utilization and adoption goals
• Facilitates communication among internal teams regarding opportunities that will enhance teacher utilization and adoption

Customer Success

• Facilitate sharing best practice in supporting customer success.
• Support in developing the right tools and resources to monitor adoption, ensuring teams are equipped to work productively and achieve key results
• Aligns education product/service goals with teacher and school leaders needs
• Ensures proper technical spec is adhered to while maintaining proper learning capacity levels to support adult learning principle
• Participates in cross-functional meetings to support proper allocation of equipment, curriculum and training needs.

Service Delivery Team Success

• Support DLILPs with follow up on maintaining records that meet quality assurance requirements.
• Partners with internal teams to develop and act on ideas that address customer needs through innovative service, training, and support
• Builds collaborative relationships with team members, inviting and facilitating problem solving and idea generation
• Shares feedback with related internal teams to proactively champion customer needs and support feature rollouts and updates
• Collaborates with team members and teams to ensure consistent delivery and utilization of tools, programs and communication strategies

Self Leadership

• Demonstrates continuous learning and growth through a personal sense of inquiry and research
• Demonstrates continuous inquiry on educational related topics to maintain a high sense of credibility with our customers
• Maintain depth of knowledge on planning and delivery of platform features, content designed for use by students and teachers
• Maintain depth of knowledge for all content in Alef Academy to ensure a high level of credibility and consistency of delivery

Education, Experience and Required SkillsEducational Qualification

• Advanced degree related to Education in a core subject area (ex. Digital Education, English, Math, Science, or Arabic)

Processes & Practice

• Strong knowledge and usage of educational technology tools in the classroom

Experience & Skills

• At least 3 years leading teachers/trainers in development/instruction of curriculum
• 3 years relevant experience (coaching and facilitating teaching strategies, curriculum standards, assessment, instructional techniques)
• 3 years teaching experience in K-12 environment
• Previous experience leading PLCs
• Exceptional knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum standards and assessments
• Experience implementing, using, and training edtech tools
• Advanced understanding of current emerging practices related to subject area (Arabic, English, Math, and Science)
• Knowledge of 21st Century Learning Concepts and emerging pedagogies
• Expertise to apply adult education principles and theory.
• Exceptional class presentation, facilitation, and management skills.
• Experience facilitating change management objectives
• Exceptional ability to quickly build relationships and establish credibility and influence with others
• Deadline oriented; strong ability to articulate priorities and revise plans to meet tight deadlines
• Advance Google and Microsoft suites skills
• Fluently bilingual (English / Arabic)
