The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of mechatronics, UAV, Robotics, and Control. The research assistant/associate should be knowledgeable of Designing and prototyping UAV and system setup. The candidate should be able to develop, Design, and Build UAV drones including testing and analyzing the data collected from the flight tests. The preferred candidate should have demonstrated experience in the area of dynamics and control and have a strong industrial background with high reliable products. Initial appointment will be for 1 year and it can be extended for another year. B.Sc. in Aerospace engineering or a relevant field Skilled in programing using Matlab/Simulink and C++. Skilled in Embedded system design. Skilled in Writing effective and scalable Python codes. Proven Experience with developing algorithms for high reliable Products. Proven experience in the design, analysis and simulation of UAVs or Robotics Good technical writing and speaking skills.
