This includes directing continuous improvement, innovation, and delivery of best-in-class digital content that reflects our learning theory, instructional design, assessment, curriculum, and accessibility goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Content Strategy Ownership of the delivery of the global content roadmap for English Medium facilitating ongoing cross functional communication and collaboration with the Product impacted divisions to enable cohesive implementation between the platform and the content within it.Content Production & Design Lead content development strategies that deliver cohesive and immersive experiences that engage students and enhance their ability to achieve targeted learning outcomes.Operational Effectiveness Lead and enable high performing, collaborative education specialty teams known for their creative and agile delivery of objectives and key results within time and cost constraintsEducation, Experience and Required SkillsEducational Qualification? Post graduate qualification in a linguistic discipline.? Bachelor?s degree in a relevant education fieldExperience? 10-12 years in a digital K12 education environment? 5 years of team leadership experience required? Solid track record in a Digital Content leadership role.? Reputable track record of publishing Arabic and English K-12 content attaining to international standards? Demonstrable experience in producing K-12 content in line with curriculum? Solid experience in leading content development teams in end to end and third-party digital publishing environment.? Solid examples of driving third party dependencies to deliver content on time and on budget.? 2 years digital education publishing experience required? Demonstrates a clear vision for the digital future of secondary education.? Previous experience negotiating contracts and coordinating work with contractors? Strong Business & Financial Acumen; specifically, budget and cost management (USD 10M).? Experience developing and managing scalable systems and processes; governance and business growth and management processes? Matrix style management experience an advantage? Ability to manage cross-functional teams with multiple functional reporting structures.? Excellent ability to facilitate and influence decision making and cyclical information flow? Arabic/Middle East experience strongly desired to enable effective student engagement across Middle East marketsEssential Skills? Problem solving; ability to drive toward project completion, overcoming obstacles, bottlenecks and other risks as required? Relationship Builder: ability to quickly establish credibility, influence and trust with other team members to better drive results? Creative Design: ability to see the big picture of the design process and influence continuous creativity details without losing focus on schedule and process efficiencies? Deadline oriented; ability to articulate priorities and revise plans to meet tight deadlines? Recent and solid track record of delivering best in class Digital Learning content for STEM.? In depth knowledge and delivery of different K-12 pedagogy and curriculum models and frameworks, including regional and international teaching and learning environments.? Solid track record in STEM research and/ or innovation environment.? Expertise and utilization of varying change management strategies and styles that support a collaborative and productive environment.? Displays an agile mindset that supports and drives divisional ambitions and fosters a culture of shared ownership and accountability.
