Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Engineer to join our team in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation engineering and design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for sustainable water management. The Irrigation Engineer will be responsible for overseeing irrigation projects, conducting site surveys, designing irrigation systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site surveys to assess irrigation needs and identify potential challenges
  2. Design efficient and sustainable irrigation systems, taking into account factors such as soil type, climate, and plant water requirements
  3. Create detailed irrigation plans, including pipe layout, valve placement, and sprinkler head specifications
  4. Collaborate with landscape architects and other professionals to integrate irrigation systems into overall landscape designs
  5. Prepare cost estimates and project proposals for irrigation projects
  6. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems
  7. Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules to optimize water usage and plant health
  8. Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology
  9. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  2. Proven experience as an Irrigation Engineer or similar role
  3. Knowledge of irrigation system design principles and practices
  4. Proficient in using irrigation design software
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  9. Valid drivers license
