The Project Manager for Interior Design and Fitout Company is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of interior design and fitout projects from inception to completion. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:1.Project Planning and Management:?Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.?Oversee the project lifecycle from initial concept through design, construction, and final installation.?Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met.2.Team Coordination:?Lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.?Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.?Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve any issues that arise.3.Client Communication:?Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.?Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.?Ensure that client feedback is incorporated into the project plan.4.Budget and Financial Management:?Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within agreed limits.?Approve and track project expenditures and invoices.?Provide financial reports and updates to senior management.5.Quality Control and Compliance:?Ensure all work complies with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.?Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle.?Resolve any quality issues that arise.6.Risk Management:?Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.?Address any issues or obstacles that could impact project timelines or quality.?Implement contingency plans as necessary.7.Documentation and Reporting:?Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, contracts, and correspondence.?Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management.?Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate.Qualifications:?Education: Bachelor?s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.?Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the interior design and fitout industry.?Personal Attributes:?Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.?Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.?Creative and innovative thinking.?Strong client-focused approach.Working Conditions:?Primarily office-based with frequent visits to project sites.?May require working extended hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project deadlines.
