Medical TranscriptionistJob Location : UAEResponsibilities :?Transcribes patients? medical reports and any notes of Physicians and/or relevant medical caregivers through dictation systems and/or live dictation for permanent storage of patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR).?Assists in the transfer of patient data from paper to electronic format in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations as well as the accreditation requirements of the Medical Records/Management of Communication and Information.?Responsible for implementation of retention and destruction policies and procedures for all medical record documentation as necessary.?Develops and sends insurance request forms to be sent to the relevant Physician for approval and verifies the insurance approvals for the prescribed treatments if applicable.?Arranges patient referrals to Physicians and/or other medicalcaregivers for assistance in understanding the information in patient records as and when required.?Reviews and documents patient visits and treatments as well as telephone orders in an accurate and timely manner to ensure regular update of the required documents on relevant systems, in line with the asset regulations and policies.?Provides and retrieves patient records by conducting activities including but not limited to processing, abstracting, analyzing and coding to enhance provision of transparent and high-quality patient care.?Assists the Physicians and relevant clinical caregivers in administrative activities including but not limited to receiving and sending test results to authorized staff as well as printing documentation such as appointment letters, sick leave requests for patients and escort leaves.Job Details :?Vocational/Technical Education?5+ years of progressive career experience?Ability to transcribe recorded Physicians? diagnosis and encode in software/systems?Understanding of medical terminologies?Strong attention to detail?Proficient in related medical record digital systems?Analytical and problem-solving skills?Fluency in written and spoken English.
