Education Required:* Masters or Bachelors Degree in the relevant area.* Excellent oral and written English essential* IELTS 7 Academic for non-first language English speakers only mandatory* Arabic Language is an advantageExperience Required:* 5 years of experience (industry and university) in a relevant area of jewellery design and production* Minimum 2 years of relevant vocational teaching/training, developing and fostering skills with experience of qualifications delivery* Ability to teach the following:* Principles of design thinking, product design, fashion design, trend analysis, design drawings, pictures rendering* CAD for product design (free form)* State of the art design product development experience (digital prototyping)* Any manual skills required for jewellery manufacturing (silver, gold, stones setting, fashion jewellery plastic, glass, ceramic, others)* Any industrial skills for jewellery production (casting, setting, polishing for a higher number of products) * Skills in digital prototyping (CAD, rhinoceros, 3D print, further processing, finishing, engraving)* Cultural awareness of local and international fashion areas* IT skills* Practical skills in the relevant area including up-to-date legal requirements and Health & Safety regulations
