HSE OfficerJob Location : UAERequirements:?Bachelor?s Degree: A degree in health and safety or environmental-related discipline is required.?NEBOSH Certification: Certified for NEBOSH International General Certificate, demonstrating proficiency in health and safety management.?ISO Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards, with knowledge of auditing processes and compliance.?Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with civil defense and other regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental management.?Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an HSE officer, preferably in the manufacturing industry, with a track record of implementing HSE protocols and initiatives.Responsibilities:?Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.?Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.?Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.?Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive action plans to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.?Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to enhance safety and environmental performance.?Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business operations, projects, and new initiatives.
