Data Center EngineersJob Location : UAEResponsibilities:?Perform daily health check of the DC which include PDUs, Devices, DBs, HVAC, Leak detection and Fire panel.?Performed site surveys to validate power, cooling, space, load, and Cabling requirements.?Commissioning and decommissioning of devices inside DC.?Backup Tapes loading/ejecting and inventory maintenance.?Facilitate remote connectivity to the equipment by providing basic network configuration and KVM connection to the newly provisioned devices.?Responsible for contacting 3rd party vendors regarding service contract and repairs.?Used server Management Technology like iLO for configuring remote management.?Used Vertiv DSview Software for KVM and PDU management.?Served as point of contact on various escalations and outages.?Updated and maintained floor plans and Add/Remove documentation.?Performed Data Center Inventory and Asset Management.?Implemented planned maintenances for hardware replacement or upgrades.?Ensure and maintain DC disaster recovery plan and business continuity plan.?Using ITSM for Interactions, Incidents and Change process.?Coordinating with vendors and other functional groups to ensure that all required preventive maintenance and repair is scheduled and performed.
