Education/ QualificationBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an established University.Chartered Quantity Surveyor Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), minimum 5 years PQE (Post Qualification experience) experience.Preferably a Secondary degree with quantity surveyor bias.Contract Manager Certification is an advantageWork ExperienceMinimum 10 years work experience, 5 of which as Contract Manager preferable with experience in a Consultancy background ideally with some contractor experience and Minimum 3 years work experience in the Middle East preferableStrong experience in the role of Engineer under the FIDIC forms of contract and the necessary delegations from the Employer along with the management of the notices and contractual instruments within the contractsKnowledgeKnowledge of procurement processes.Knowledge of UAE suppliers marketKnowledge of ERP systemTendering Process, Bid Evaluation, Pre-award, Awarding, Post-awardContract Management/Administration, EOT & Cost Claims and Disputes.SkillsExcellent Communication SkillsEnglish LanguageNegotiation SkillPlanning, organizing and analytical skillsAbility to work under pressure
