Civil Inspector / Civil EngineerJob Location : UAEJob Objective :?To supervise civil construction activities on various projects. Monitor, inspect and report on site works in liaison with project managers.?Project Monitoring & Reporting?Inspect the work done by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted practice?Inspect the on-site and off-site materials to be used in the project and organize field and laboratory tests, conducted by others, on construction materials to ascertain their compliance with the specifications and determine it acceptability for use on the project.?Implement site supervision quality procedures, and review submission requirements of the project, along with the contractor.?Ensure that all statutory authority NOCs / permits/design approvals are available on-site for construction.?Inspection of trenches and ensure the readiness of the trench prior to backfilling.?Inspect and verify the soil classifications?Inspect all aspects of civil construction including, but not limited to, concrete casting, reinforcement steel, etc?Record crossings with other services eg crossing conflict?Monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete records concerning the execution of the work?Carry out inspections during contractor punch list closure
