Job Description

  • Perform as Pilot-In-Command and/or Instructor Pilot on PAC Aircraft, accomplishing scheduled and unscheduled flights as well as post maintenance flights, acceptance flights, and support missions as prescribed by the customer.
  • Conduct advanced planning, aircraft launch and mission execution, inside Abu Dhabi city within a one-hour alert notification cycle.
  • Conduct mission analysis, risk management/mitigation and accept or reject mission changes while actively flying.
  • Deploy single pilot or as lead for multi-ship elements to foreign countries to conduct Day/Night/NVG/IFR VIP operations.
  • Within the UAE or deployed, conduct single pilot operations through complex airspace, to unimproved landing area while providing instruction to non-qualified pilots.
  • Brief crew members and non-crew members on safety, emergency procedures, and scope of mission. Pilot aircraft and command crew to accomplish assigned mission.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as deemed by the Aviation Senior Advisor or PAC Deputy Director.
  • Represent the UAE and the PAC by positive actions, attitude, and appearance.

  • Assists the Aviation Senior Advisor or PAC Deputy Director in the operations of VIP Aircraft.
  • Ensure that all aircraft procedures, flight operation practices, standards and records comply with ICAO, GCAA, PAC, GAL, and OEM regulations.
  • Obtain briefing information on the purpose of flight, weather, operation procedures, intelligence, and any special instructions. Prepare flight plans considering factors as altitude, terrain, weather, aircraft, crew capabilities, threats, operational and training requirements, and flight procedures.
  • Ensue VIP aircraft are being operated to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, technical manuals, airworthiness directives and good maintenance practices.
  • Ensure the aircraft has a pre-flight, is properly loaded, equipped, and manned for the mission. Inspect engines, fuselage, and control surfaces for mechanical and structural soundness. Inspect and test equipment for proper operation. Ensures that weight and balance is correct, fuel supply is adequate, and equipment is properly stowed.
  • Must possess an ability to interact with various cultures.
