Box 54733, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Category Customer Services Job Id R_162612 JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION SUMMARYIn order to support the ongoing growth of Marsh Valuation Services Practice (VSP) throughout the Middle East, we are seeking a Senior Valuations Consultant to establish our local presence in the Abu Dhabi, servicing primarily the UAE, secondarily the ME region and supporting the African valuation team where required. We are specialists in valuation of Property, Plant and Equipment assets throughout the MEA region (with a global reach). The role requires capability in Real Estate valuation, with Plant & Machinery valuation capabilities as an advantage. The role will see you develop valuations business in the region, with the strong backing of Marshs network, building local internal and external relationships and undertaking valuations across MEA for a range of purposes. We have a strong focus on financial reporting and insurance valuations with no reliance on bank panels or mortgage valuations. For more information see .KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE1 * Supporting the MEA regional leader with the management, growth and performance of the MEA business units. Implementing internal processes and procedures locally. 2 * Leading engagements in the region with the support of the MEA team. 3 * Conducting valuations for various purposes and requirements. 4 * Developing new business and managing client and internal stakeholder relationships to enhance renewal business and source opportunities. 5 * Enhance reporting and expand our current service offerings. 6 Required: * Local and international travel for projects, client commitments and strategic purposes.* Ability to manage a team, project manage engagements and ensure client deadlines.* Ability to become a resident of Abu Dhabi. We will sponsor work visas where required.REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation(degree / diploma) * College/university diploma or degree or equivalent work experienceCertifications/Charters* Abu Dhabi residency required* MRICS/ASA qualification preferred* Taqyeem preferred, with ability to register with Taqyeem required* Saudi Arabian Taqeem registration, an advantage* DMAT registered preferred with ability to register* Engineering background requiredExperience* Minimum of 10+ years valuation experience* Minimum 5 years valuation experience in the UAEKnowledge and skills(general and technical) Required: * Valuation for insurance, market value, fair value and other popular requirements.* Experience with plant & equipment beneficial* Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.* Comfortable and experienced working with technology (solutions).* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Outlook, Word and Excel.* Strong numerical skills* Excellent organization skills able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.* Excellent interpersonal skills able to work within a team.* Networking skills* A track record of business development.* Strong problem solving capabilities
