Product specifications and quality requirements in high-speed wire rod and bar mills Functions and activities of production team in long product mills Knowledge about operation and maintenance of high-speed block mill problem solving Basic computer skills. Computer literate with Word Processing and Spreadsheet experience Ability to study and understand engineering drawings. Thorough knowledge on Fast moving tracking and dispatch/warehouse systems, Basic knowledge on banks and piler operation and optimisation, Good knowledge on mill automation, Basic knowledge on computer operation. Good knowledge of sections rolling mills Good command of EnglishMinimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves) Any preferred professional training (Nice to have)Industrial Diploma.Hazard and Safety Awareness Basic Roll Design and Scheduling Report WritingProfessional Experience (Must haves) Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations (Nice to have)5 years experience.Key Performance IndicatorsEnsures that orders are dispatched on scheduling committing to delivery terms on an occupied and free capacity basis to ensure 100% on time delivery.Maximize yields from semi-finished goods by following FIFO, timely sorting of held products and protection against environment factorsDetermine possible and actual shortages, initiate actions to correct found deficienciesEnsure Safety & environment incidents to acceptable limitsEnsure systems conform to Integrated management system with least non conformanceOptimize utilization of human and equipment resources by controlling overtime and inappropriate use of equipmentCustomer Satisfaction, 100% complianceMinimize obsolete inventory, eliminate quality disputes.AftermathSpot check and audit scores.Audit scoresEfficient utilization of available resources, equipment/manpower within budgeting limits.Note: Ensure to mention the Department and Applied Position while applying.
