Job Title: Tender And Contract SpecialistWork Location: Abu DhabiWith occasional offshore visit as per requirementsLeave Cycle: 150/30 (for single status) - single status accommodation provided335/30 (for family status) - Family status is subject to the approval of Management after successful completion of probation period.The company will provide only family accommodation, Family Emirates ID cost and Health Insurance.Working Hours: Abu Dhabi: 07:00 to 15:00 (5-days a week)Offshore: 06:30 to 18:30 (7-days a week)Air Ticket Round trip - Economy class provided (only for Employee)MedicalHealth Insurance providedContract Type: Contract HireFood: Subsidised Food will be providedSalary: AED 15,000 - 17,000 per monthOther conditions: All other conditions will be as per UAE/ABU DHABI LABOUR LAW.Qualification (minimum): Bachelor of Science or EngineeringExperience (minimum):•10+ years total experience in E&P industry as tender coordinator and & Contact Administrator•Experience as Drilling engineer and Contract Administrator, should have extensive experience in the drilling industry•Shall have more than 3 years working experience in Oil and Gas& Responsibilities:•Responsible for the preparation, submission and administration of tenders and contracts related to drilling services and operations•Experience as work/support drilling, completion, workover (incl. ESP replacement) operations as engineer•Experience as tender, contract coordinating / monitoring / negotiation / technical evaluation as Contract Administrator.•Should have experience in tendering, procurement planning, related document preparation, evaluation for Market Survey, Contract negotiation etc.Tender Management:•Lead and coordinate the preparation, submission, and evaluation of tenders for drilling contracts, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.•Review tender documentation, ensuring all necessary information, including technical, commercial, and financial data, is included.•Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to gather relevant information, cost estimates, and technical inputs required for tender submissions.•Prepare detailed and accurate bid packages, ensuring that all submission deadlines are met.•Identify tendering risks and propose solutions to mitigate them, ensuring maximum competitiveness while safeguarding company interests.Contract Management:•Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts related to drilling operations, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract terms and conditions.•Ensure all contractual terms meet legal, commercial, and operational requirements and protect the companys interests.•Monitor the execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines, budgets, and performance standards.•Proactively manage amendments, variations, and extensions to contracts as required.•Collaborate with legal, technical, and project teams to address any contractual disputes, claims, or issues that arise during the contract execution.•Identify and assess potential risks in both tendering and contracting phases, including legal, operational, and financial risks.•Ensure compliance with all relevant UAE laws, industry regulations, and health and safety standards, particularly those specific to drilling operations.•Advise management on risk mitigation strategies and implement safeguards in contractual terms and tender proposals.•Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contractual obligations and enforce compliance across various projects.•Act as the main point of contact between internal teams (operations, legal, finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, subcontractors).•Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure alignment of expectations and smooth project execution.•Assist in resolving disputes or issues between parties involved in tendering or contract management processes.•Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for tender submissions based on project scope and technical requirements.•Monitor the financial performance of contracts and ensure that costs are controlled, invoicing is accurate, and payments are received on time.•Track the financial aspects of contracts, including variations, claims, and potential cost overruns, to ensure they remain within budget.
