What you will doThe Senior Technician is a key role reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, Aftermarket Controls Segment. The Aftermarket Controls team carry out service, maintenance and retrofit projects on Building Management Systems (BMS) used for comfort and energy efficiency across multiple industries including commercial, retail and hospitality.As a Senior Technician, you will be passionate about performing onsite system verification, planned preventive maintenance activities, Designing minor fit outs/Retrofits for the improvement of current system, Testing & commissioning of fit out projects.As a member of this team, you will work within a multifaceted environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project management skills.How you will do itAs a Senior Technician, you must have knowledge of the latest BMS products, HVAC control philosophy including chiller plant, Instrumentation and electronics which you will use for programming controllers, installing & commissioning of DDC controllers, field devices such as Sensors, DPTs, Valve actuators etc., 3rd party integrations with BMS and Chiller plant manager.As a Senior Technician you will be responsible for handling customers on emergency situations like breakdowns and emergency calls, handle customers individually attend customer meetings during the absence of your supervisors.As a senior Technician you will be using your expertise of giving innovative ideas to customers on system improvement and energy savings in order to develop the business and customer relationships and conduct system operation training and build handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by maintaining a high standard of safety at all times. You will build monthly/Quarterly PPM reports, PPM schedules and ensure all the PPMs have been completed as per schedule and contract terms.
