This is what defines and differentiates us.By working together every day, we?re bringing energy to life.Company : ADNOC Logistics & ServicesJob Title :Technician, HVAC (Air Conditioning MS - Ruwais)ROLE PURPOSE:Directs the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of air conditioning systems in all areas of the Ruwais Base. Controls the work of contractors, identifies and costs requirements for projects and carries out the more complex technical work and fault findings. Ensures that all work is carried out safely and efficiently within agreed time, cost, technical, quality & HSE standards in order to facilitate achievement of business objectives.OBJECTIVES:

• Carries out a range of tasks related to the skilled installation, preventive maintenance, overhaul and repairof a wide variety of industrial and non-industrial air conditioning and cooling equipment in all industrial andnon-industrial areas of the ADNOC L&S Base and Tenant premises and facilities. A/C systems includechilled water& DX e.g. Chillers, Package Units, Ducted Split Units, Air Handling Units, fan coil units andDecorative units.
• Carries out and prepares for air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair work. Includes receiving and checking work orders, determining work method, and materials needs, obtainingmaterials, tools, test equipment and spare parts and transporting to work site.
• Troubleshoots on complete air-conditioning systems, checking Refrigerant pressures and leakages,topping up and sealing pressurised systems, checking belt tension and replacing belts, compressorsand fans, and making adjustments to room or building air balance.
• Carries out skilled preventive maintenance on all types of air conditioning systems in accordance withdaily schedules. Carries out routine checks including cleaning filters, greasing motor fans, pressurechecking and topping up with refrigerants. Checks and adjusts belt tension, checks/proof tests controlcircuits and carries out necessary repairs such as replacing fuses, adjusting and resetting overhead prelays and replacing contractors. Completes all equipment records and maintenance orders with detailsof work done and faults found.
• Installs new A/C systems or extensions in accordance with work orders and manufacturersinstructions. Includes fabricating and installing inlet and outlet systems ducting andthermostats in individual rooms connecting to existing systems or installing new roof systems,including control systems and related electric wiring. Carries out in the workshop a variety ofequipment overhauls and fabrications to split and window units. Includes cleaning andreplacing filters, checking and topping up refrigerant, checking and repairing or replacing fans,bearings and unit seals. Reassembles reinstalls and tests repaired equipment.
• Review and discuss job requests, sketches and drawings to determine precise requirements andarrange to obtain and transport required materials and equipment to work site

• Completion of Secondary Technical (12 years) education.
• completion of a recognised air-conditioning/electrical training course, equivalent to 2 years full time.
• 4 years maintenance experience on similar equipment in an industrial environment.
