Job Description

An exciting new role has come up with a technology company in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking for a Technical Writer. In this role, you will have the responsibility of preparing instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other supporting documents to communicate technical information. Furthermore, you will:

  • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
  • Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
  • Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
  • Maintain a library of application/product documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.
  • Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent look and feel.
RequirementsTo be considered for this, you need to meet the following criteria:
  • 5+ years of technical writing experience.
  • 5+ years of experience using technical writing tools
  • written and verbal communication and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
  • Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the product.
  • Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
