Technical Facilitator

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:Develop and implement all technical trainings related to Supply Chain operations including the receipt, storage,handling and delivery of products, use of related equipment, safety and fire prevention, driving of fuellingvehicles and Quality control.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Job Specific AccountabilitiesTraining Need Analysis

• Define the training needs in consultation with the Supply Chain team Leader, Supply Chain Department Managers and the Employee Development Department of Human Resources.
• Prepare training and development plans for all categories of staff in the Supply Chain Division.

Training Design and Delivery

• In alignment with Human Resources Department?s training standards, conduct training to new and existing employees, including operational activities related to product receipt storage, distribution and inventory levels of products in the concerned depots, the quality control procedures; fire prevention and fire-fighting procedures, fire-fighting equipment and safe handling of products and documentation required for each of the aforementioned.
• Maintain training attendance records of all employees in the Supply Chain Division, keeping records of all training carried out and note areas where further training may be needed in the future.
• Ensure through relevant staff, keep the training rooms and other training areas and facilities/ resources neat and orderly and store the training aids and equipment in a locked storage area.

Others

• Perform other similar and related tasks as assigned by the Team Leader, including assisting with the selection of operational staff and trainees.

• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets

• Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section?s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
• Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

Performance Management

• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices

Reports

• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of learning techniques and experience in design and development of training programs
