Job Description

Our company is seeking a skilled Technical Assistant to join our Manufacturing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in manufacturing processes. As a Technical Assistant, you will provide support to the manufacturing team by analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with process improvements. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.Responsibilities:

  • Search Engineering database for drawings, verify drawings are approved for release, print drawings and attach to work orders.
  • Correspond with Engineering groups in other locations to obtain drawings not released in companys Engineering database.
  • Work with the Planning department releasing work orders to designated shop personnel.
  • Liaise between Engineering and Manufacturing when necessary to provide drawings or part detail required to manufacture product.
  • Contact person at location for all Engineering Change Notices. Responsible for alerting appropriate plant personnel when ECNs are issued.
  • Works assignments carried out to the highest quality level with minimal supervision.
  • Must understand and comply with all quality and safety rules and company policies of company.
  • May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency.
