  • Leads the activities of Inspection Team & assumes full responsibility for areas related to Inspections inADNOC Refining, in terms of planning, development and delivery of all Inspection Activities for Refinery andassociated facilities as assigned.
  • Directly controls all Inspection activities in assigned operating sites toensure high level of Asset Integrity and Safety of assets.
  • Collaborate and Liaise with relevant Teams todeliver Inspection Services in line with ADNOC Refining objectives.
  • Plans and coordinates Inspection activities the centralized source of expertise while ensuring compliancewith Company strategies, commitments and goals. Provide complete range of Inspection Services, incoordination with other supporting functions.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance to TAs, delegate jobs to TAs based on their functional expertise andskills, lead in technical investigations and studies. Act as interface with external agencies viz. OEM, vendors,Specialized Inspection Services to resolve issues escalated from TAs.
  • Plans and manages respective Teamu2019s functions to support Operation of Specialties units in compliance withTechnical Authority framework. Major focus on Long-Term / Chronic issues and identify permanent solutionto achieve Integrity and availability of assets under jurisdiction.
  • Inspection / Inspection Services support to Projects related Specialties Technologies right from ConceptualStudies, Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC and Commissioning stages till Final Acceptance.
  • Endorse related Projectsdocuments through all stages ensuring compliance with Company Technical, HSE and other relevantstandards.
  • Endorse deviations as and when required in consultation with I&C Manager.
  • Lead and Provide Technical expertise advancements in Strategic Inspection, Risk Based Inspections andFitness For Service assessments as applicable for various assets / units.
  • Provide all Inspection services incompliance with Technical Authority system. Active role in selection of new Inspection Technologies.
  • Quality assurance and seamless follow-up of all Technical requirements for continued, sustained, efficientand safe operations of ADNOC Refining Facilities while ensuring 100% HSE Compliance.
  • EnsureContinuous Improvement and Profitability growth of ADNOC Refining assets by initiating and championingIntegrity assurance / improvement initiatives, supporting Asset Development on Long Term perspective.
Key Accountabilities
  • Directs, Supervises and controls the activities of Assigned personnel including allocating work anddetermining priorities.
  • Performs supervisory functions and exercises functional/authority at Team Leader level as established bythe Technical Authority Framework
  • Act as Technical Authority Level 2, for all aspects related to Inspections of Static Equipment, includingProcess Equipment, Pipelines, Tanks farms Etc.
  • Identify different levels of technical accountability with clear delegations of technical authority
  • Support Projects (Major/Minor) and MOCs through assigned and dedicated TA-3s
  • Ensures Inspection Services in line with applicable Codes and Standards, ADNOC and ADNOC Refining
  • Standards and Industry Best Practices and recommends enhancement thereof for assured
  • Mechanical Integrity for existing Refinery and other Facilities as well as all AR Projects.
  • Leads Implementation of Inspection Plans / Inspection Tasks as stipulated by various applicabledocuments in compliance with relevant Procedures.
  • Plan and Executes Turnaround Inspection as per scope, and ensures complete compliance.
  • Develops and Endorse Inspection policies, standards and DGS/AGES documents.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance to Inspection Work Lists.
  • Leads Inspection optimization and Risk assessed approaches for managing Asset Integrity Risks, whileensuring Process Safety.
  • Provides technical resolutions/decisions on TQs and DCAs raised by Pre-FEED / FEED Consultant/EPCContractor.
  • Lead and advises on Project related inspection requirements.
  • Ensures close coordination with the Corrosion, NDT and QAQC Teams to deliver Inspection Services withhigh efficiency.
  • Ensure that the Teams activities are budgeted, planned and implemented to achieve safe, reliable andefficient operations at optimum cost with highly motivated and competent team.
  • Lead or participate (as required) in the preliminary investigation and studies of incidents, failures ordeficiencies to identify the root causes and provide recommendation of remedial actions to avoidrecurrence.
  • Reviews the performance of equipment and ensures that technical assistance is provided for trouble freeoperation when necessary.
  • Evaluates and recommends proposals for plant modification or improvement.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in Inspection / Integrity, including 5 years in a senior supervisory position,preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Exposure to multi-engineering disciplines and experience in operations, maintenance and projectsfunctions with strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and people management skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
