The candidate in this role will have the global ownership and responsibility for SPC Product competitiveness and ultimately SPC system competitivenessAs a Product Management Director, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring market competitiveness of the SPC products - Conventional Wellheads, Specialty Wellheads, Time-Saving WellheadsMultibowl Designs, Flow Control - Gate Valve Trees, Mudline Suspension equipment and Connectors for global applications, focused in the following areas:
• Analyzing market & competitor analysis, benchmarking and VoC
• A fully structured & managed SPC system portfolio
• Operationalizing product management, driving cost out, cycle, quality, technology development and ultimately commercialization
• Application of a KPI based metric/dashboard suite and review rhythm for the SPC System. Operationalize Product Management from front end solution ownership to subsequent cost, cycle and quality management. Underpinned by development, implementation and maintenance of a fully structured & integrated Product/ System portfolio.
• Ensuring market positioning of SPC Products & Systems in line within constraints of NPI and PLE budgets. Ensure market awareness is sustained by extended customer faced time, use of market and competitor intelligence tools & active participation in O&G Industry Forums & Societies.
• Leading a team of experienced SPC Product Managers, ensuring the team is trained and is better positioned to deliver on the business outcomes. Ensuring the team is connecting at the Regional and global levels.
• Developing of effective, flexible and reactive talent pipeline, both internal and external, to react to business pressures and peaks
• Providing leadership to direct reports includes staffing, training, and evaluation
• Staying closely connected & contribute with Surface control experience to the BH OFSE Product Management Community

Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:

• Have 20+ years experience in O&G industry in the Engineering/ Product Management leadership roles
• Have Oil and Gas - Surface Pressure Control domain experience will be an advantage
• Have knowledge of SPC Products portfolio - Conventional Wellheads, Specialty Wellheads, Time-Saving WellheadsMultibowl Designs, Flow Control - Gate Valve Trees, Mudline Suspension equipment and Connectors
• Have advanced Engineering degree
• Have excellent leadership capabilities (executive presence and credibility)
• To be able to support on annual product planning and other business rhythms
• Self-starter and ability to independently execute on-time and on-budget
• Able to deliver on milestones within agreed timeframe & ability to manage own schedule
• Abe to work up, down and across the organisation, good influencing skills globally
• Able to identify, drive & deliver on process improvements/ product management work
• have ownership & accountability at a senior level
• Able to maintain strong customer interface with IOCs/ NOCs Technology leaders
• Have strong influencing and communication skills
