Job Description

Job PurposeProvide expert advice on rigs? operations and maintenance requirements to ensure all prerequisites and services to the rig and which are essential for successfully completing the drilling programme is readily available to the rig at the required time.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)? Co-ordinate all drilling and work-over operations on assigned rigs in accordance with approved programs and budget constraints. ? Analyse well drilling data and recommends the most economical, efficient and safe measures to be taken to optimise drilling operations. ? Monitor the work is carried out in accordance with client?s requirements and terms & conditions of contract, through regular work inspection, observation and daily review of operations.? Coordinate with support functions (Procurement, Maintenance, Human Resources, Finance, etc.) relative to the provision of spares, equipment, technical assistance and correct calibre of personnel to secure continuity of efficient rig operations.? Maintain close liaison with operating companies (clients) to ensure that services rendered by the company is consistent with client?s requirements, contract provisions and approved drilling and work-over programs.? Co-ordinate activities in emergency condition situations.? Monitor all rig moves to ensure the activities are undertaken in a safe and proper manner. Liaise with clients on rig moves between locations. ? Coordinate and follow up all rig upgrading, classification and certifications. Liaise with certification authorities in respect of assigned rigs to ensure that they are in compliance with international standards.? Review contract specifications for drilling, work-over and associated services and ensure rig managers fully understand and implement the contract terms and conditions.? Assist rig managers on annual budget and five-year business operational plan for assigned rigs. Monitor expenditure regularly to identify variances from budgeted figure and recommends remedial action where possible.? Understand the requirements of organization working process for the Quality management system. Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section?s / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.Performance Management? Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.Innovation and Continuous Improvement? Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.? Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability? Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of PracticesReports?
