Student Career & University Counsellor - UAE NationalWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Student Career & University Counsellor to join our team at CIS.Under the direction of the schools administration team, the Career & University Counsellor will organize, maintain and operate a high school Career & University Center and provide a wide variety of career information and materials; communicate with students, faculty, parents, and community representatives concerning career planning and university entrance.The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Provide career and university entrance information and assistance to students, teachers, and parents.
  • Prepare career education and instructional materials for use by teachers and students; assist students in locating and using university/career information as needed for research, assignments and post-high school planning.
  • Obtain, organize, file and display guidance materials; catalog and prepare for use by students; maintain displays and bulletin boards.
  • Develop and maintain a current and comprehensive occupational library including information on careers and career clusters, employment prospects and trends and employment requirements and opportunities; obtain and circulate current university catalogs.
  • Plan and conduct Career Days, Career Month, Teen Job Fairs, or University Fairs.
  • Prepare and deliver informational presentation as requested; orient students to the Career & University Center resources and services.
  • Prepare supporting documentation to students for university applications such as, reference letters etc.
