Stores SupervisorPosition Title: Stores SupervisorJob Purpose: Responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated recordsKey Accountabilities:Inventory Replenishment* Control and maintain current stock levels and material documentation * When dispatching materials ensure all required documentation and guidelines are provided * Receipt & Issuing of Goods * Coordinate receiving inspections with QC before accepting materials * Manage all consumables in compliance with requested specifications * Issue materials and items upon completion of valid requisition documents / vouchersStorage of Raw Materials and Consumables* Order raw materials in a timely manner to comply with production department requirements * Plan the incoming material offloading process to ensure that proper space storage is arranged, and port demurrage is avoided * Ensure that Stores items are clearly marked, and physical stock count is taken periodically in order to verify with LN system and minimize the stock level * Control the raw material stock and aging levels, and report to the management to ensure the raw material are usableTeamwork & Employee Excellence* Enhance work environment to promote and drive employee engagement and team effectiveness * Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide staff feedback regarding strengths, areas for improvements and development opportunities * Establish KPIs for individual units and ensure that they are aligned with FPIs mission and visionHSE* Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions * Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks * Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents * Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order * Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations * Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures * Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as requiredSpan of Communication:*Internal:General Manager, All Line Managers *External: Shipping and clearing agents (when requested)SkillsQualification, Experience & Skills:Required Qualifications:* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalentPreferred Experience:* 3 to 5 years stores / warehousing experience* At least 2 years in supervisory roleJob-Specific Skills:* Control of stocks* Ability to identify mechanical and electrical items for storage* Ability to read and clearly relay technical specifications* Ability to operate ERP systemsCompetencies:* Leadership and motivation* Attention to details* Analytical skills* Good English communicationEducationBachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent Job Location Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Role Purchasing and Procurement Years of Experience Min: 3 Max: 7 Residence Location United Arab Emirates; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Dubai, United Arab Emirates
