As the Statistical Methods Specialist, you will be required to utilise your knowledge of data and statistical computing to develop innovative methodologies that help derive useful insights for the governments decision-making process.Client DetailsThis is a government organisation exploring a broad range of new strategic initiatives for Abu Dhabi to create a lasting impact.DescriptionResearch international methodologies, coupled with your existing knowledge and experience to define the organisations statistical production methodologies.Utilise your knowledge of statistical analysis to establish coding guidelines for data sources, including methodologies for treatments of variable and outliers.Investigate complex methodologies, routinely updating processes for indicators, statistics & databases.Provide advice and support to develop data modification systems that help to derive information adjusted variables as well as substitute missing data.Enhance technical knowledge and skills through workshops and liaising with internal/external stakeholders.ProfileMinimum 10 years experience in developing methods in mature statistical production environments.Masters degree or PhD in statistics is highly preferred.Strong understanding of statistical computing/data science techniques.Excellent analytical skills combined with strong reporting and proofreading skills.Excellent verbal and written presentation skillsSound organisation skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.Job OfferAttractive, tax-free salary Strategic role with the opportunity to play a part in the transformation of a high - profile organisation.
