Job Description

Entity Type: Government EntityRole Purpose:The Stakeholder Engagement Senior Specialist plays a critical role within a government entity by fostering trust and collaboration with key stakeholders to support the successful execution of a portfolio of programs aligned with the Demand Side Management (DSM) strategy. This role ensures continued alignment between programs and strategic goals through comprehensive stakeholder engagement, governance, program oversight, and performance reporting.Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, task force leads, and program managers to ensure strategic alignment and smooth program delivery.
  • Represent the government entity in strategic discussions, interdepartmental coordination, and high-level forums.
  • Program Portfolio Management
  • Ensure DSM program portfolios are effectively managed throughout the lifecycle, from planning to completion.
  • Implement and enforce lifecycle management standards and best practices in line with government frameworks and Centre of Excellence (CoE18) guidelines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive integrated schedule of programs and initiatives, with monthly tracking and reporting.
  • Governance & Risk Management
  • Oversee the allocation of responsibilities across relevant actors, including risk management, benefits realization, and communications.
  • Analyze and report on threats, opportunities, and gaps within the portfolio, recommending corrective actions and substitutions as needed.
  • Deliver monthly performance updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Benefits Realization & Financial Oversight
  • Collaborate with program managers to quantify and track benefits and cost savings.
