Job Description

Our ClientA leading Cyber Security Consulting Company in Abu Dhabi, UAE is looking for Sr. Security Engineer - Sentinel for 12 months contract.Your Responsibilities

  • Support architecture and design phase of SIEM (Azure Sentinel) solutions as a component of SOC offerings.
  • Responsible for configuration and deployment of SIEM (Azure Sentinel) solution.
  • Responsible for client onboarding to SIEM (Azure Sentinel).
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient handover of services into production including knowledge transfer, compliance and sanity checks
  • Day-to-day management of SIEM (Azure Sentinel) to ensure the service delivery is in accordance with the agreed service levels, timelines
  • Responsible for delivering against the Service Operations contract.
  • Responsible for log source onboarding, data parsing, and normalization following ASIM
  • Responsible for use case development and fine tuning.
  • Responsible for workbook creation and maintenance to support reporting capabilities.
  • Responsible for playbook creation and maintenance as part of security automation services.
  • Responsible for receiving, processing and identifying change requests from the clients and internal parties.
  • Responsible for proactive Risk and Problem management
Your Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as SIEM Engineer and at least 1 year as Azure Sentinel Engineer.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in Security Operations, SOC, SIEM, Incident Response, Automation, Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience working in a product integration environment. Knowledge of REST API best practices and usage is an advantage.
  • Experience with KQL or Splunk SPL query languages.
  • Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Infrastructure knowledge base covering Networking, Compute, Virtualization, Open stack, Storage, Load balancing, etc.
  • Experience with migration from another SIEM tool to Azure Sentinel.
  • Experience with other Microsoft Security Products (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender 365, Defender for Office).
  • Knowledge of networking and network protocols (TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, FTP, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Python programming and scripting is a bonus.
  • SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Certified.
  • AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator.
