Job title ? Pre-contract QS Department ? EstimationLocation ? UAE Qualification ? Bachelors Degree, Civil Engineering Additional qualifications: Familiar with takeoff software (Plan swift and/or on-screen take off) Familiar with all engineering items, tools, materials & specifications used in construction projects Familiar with variation order procedure Familiar with payments procedure Responsibilities

  • Take-off of all quantities related to construction projects from initial calculation to the final figures using takeoff software,
  • Sending inquiries to various suppliers/subcontractors and prepare comparison statements (prices & quantities) for different quotations.
  • BOQ Preparation
  • Pricing civil items and finalize its cost estimate
  • Follow up the variation orders for the running projects and evaluate them completely (quantities and prices)
