Job Description

The Speech Therapist Teacher and Admin Assistant role is essential in providing support to students with speech and language difficulties while also managing administrative tasks within a vocational education setting. This position combines teaching, therapy, and administrative responsibilities to ensure that students receive the best possible support in their educational journey. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and will possess strong organizational abilities to manage various administrative duties effectively.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
  3. Provide direct speech therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings.
  4. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students communication goals.
  5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  6. Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for speech therapy.
  7. Organize and participate in workshops and training sessions for staff and parents.
  8. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining files.
  9. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of therapy programs.
  10. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.
