By working together every day, weu2019re bringing energy to life.About the Job:Provide expert advice in the area of Sequence stratigraphy and sedimentology. Construct and interpret sequence stratigraphy framework using 3D seismic, core data, well data and other geological information and generate depositional models in alignment with industry best practice. Responsible for stratigraphic prospects generation and evaluation. Conduct sedimentology studies. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Identifies facies deposition environments and stacking pattern of reservoirs.
• Reviews and/or develops the sequence stratigraphy scheme of field reservoirs in line with the existingregional stratigraphy framework.
• Reviews the sequence stratigraphy studies deliverables in manner that ensures quality of the results.
• Integrates geological and reservoir data and establishes reservoir characterization models for the fieldreservoirs.
• Conducts quality control of reservoir data such as stratigraphic markers, cores and logs used for the variousdeveloped and undeveloped reservoirs studies and ensure that they are residing in the corporate database.
• Interprets features of sequence stratigraphy on 3D seismic data, correlate well markers consideringsequence stratigraphy and generate depositional models.
• Creates facies definitions and generate related maps. Constructs geological model taking results ofsequence stratigraphy into account and develop stratigraphic play types.
• Identifies sequence stratigraphy framework on 3D seismic data. Calibrates the results of the identifiedsequences and system tracts on well logs.
• Integrates the seismic facies depositional facies and well test/production data to evaluate the reservoirperformance. Builds the stratigraphic layers in integration with the reservoir flow units.
• Identify the high- K streaks and the diagenetic features and categorize stratigraphic play types in the field.
• Supervises the development and maintenance of sedimentological and reservoir rock typing and conductingspecial studies to investigate specific problems by introducing new techniques.

Minimum Requirements:Minimum QualificationPreferable to have MSc and/or PhD in geology.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 15 years experience in the petroleum industry, reservoir geology, sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy.
• Industry background covers Carbonate Sedimentology and Sequence Stratigraphy
• Experience of generating geological depositional and diagenetic conceptual models, and explaining their impact on reservoir fluid flow
