Working at AIQ includes dealing with massive data sets, an AI infrastructure that is powered by the latest NVIDIA GPU cloud computing platform and access to limitless computing, storage and network resources.JOB PURPOSE:Review, analyse, coordinate/participate in the provision of procurement and procurement services to AIQ in areas for cost effectiveness, centralized procurement and contracting strategies. Provide input to propose recommendations to procurement commitments, including participating in formulating procurement strategies. Manage procurement requests for approval of tenders and issue of contract for service and procurement. Participate in the review procurement and procurement commitments.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Procurement Operations

  • Participate in the review and identify problem areas, risks, difficulties and other concerns related to procurement function, includes proposing course of corrective and mitigation measures for Management.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and support in monitoring and ensuring that the procurement activities are executed in accordance to ADNOC Procurement guidelines with implementing effective technical and procurement strategies in order to achieve best procurement/technical outcomes.
  • Support in providing effective Procurement strategies, includes participating in the formulation of strategies for best procurement practices.
  • Coordinate / monitor procurement processes to support in ensuing that they are managed in an ethical and impartial manner to protect and enhance the good image and procurement integrity of AIQ
  • Participate in improving the contractual terms and conditions for AIQ proposed contracts in coordination with suppliers and contractors
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of reports in a timely and accurate manner for the Function?s recommendations to AIQ management.
  • Performs other similar duties as assigned.
Supervision
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.
Budgets
  • Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Implement approved Function/ Division/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/ Division / Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
  • Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • 8 years of professional experience in Procurement / Contracts and Tendering functions,
  • Techno-commercial knowledge in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • General knowledge in Procurement Laws.
  • Good leadership capabilities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, networking, planning & organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Good reasoning ability to solve a wide range of business problems.
  • Good knowledge of English and Arabic.
