Job Description

SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist/Consultant Orthodontist to join our team. As an Orthodontist, you will specialize in diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities, such as the misalignment of teeth and jaws.In this role, you will work closely with patients to create treatment plans, perform orthodontic procedures, and monitor progress throughout the course of treatment. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to helping patients achieve optimal oral health and a confident smile.Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients dental and facial structure to diagnose and determine the need for orthodontic treatment
  • Create customized treatment plans based on patients dental records, X-rays, and impressions
  • Install and adjust orthodontic appliances, such as braces, aligners, and retainers
  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Educate patients about proper oral hygiene and care, and provide guidance on post-treatment maintenance
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals, such as orthodontic assistants and oral surgeons, when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient consultations, treatments, and progress
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in orthodontic treatments and techniques through continuous education and professional development
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in patient care
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
  • Specialization in Orthodontics from an accredited program
  • Valid license to practice as an Orthodontist
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities
  • Excellent knowledge of orthodontic appliances and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients of all ages
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
