By taking an entrepreneurial approach and drawing on the expertise of established ADNOC upstream operating companies, we are using a cost-effective operating model to develop these concession areas and enable their profitable development.We are contributing to ADNOCs 2030 strategy by helping to create a more profitable upstream and supporting the growth of the UAEs economy.About the JobEnsure ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) lifecycle quality management this includes design/selection verification, assembly/dis-assembly process checking, ESP performance analysis, and provide technical expertise. Plan and control execution of all activities related to ESP (Rigless or conventional) and completion operations on Al Yasat development, exploration, and appraisal.Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out well performance surveys analysis and prepare related reports this includes providing the requested recommendations and deliver suitable action.
  • Review the developed ESP simulation/well models and equipment size/ selection before installation.
  • Providing site ESP trouble shooting/failure including, technical support activity covering subsurface and surface ESP equipment.
  • Ensure the quality of ESP Equipment pull out/run-in, dismantling, assembling and installation this includes jet pumps, tubular, installation, and removal of well heads and surrounding flow lines.
  • Endows all ESP applications with setting the protection and surveillance system, starting up and well commissioning and conduct well testing.
  • Failed ESP equipment investigation, root case analysis & repair.
  • Analyzing well and ESP equipment performance and issue Well/ESP operating envelop guidelines.
  • Delivers periodical performance monitoring and operational analysis reports to all assets.
  • Ensures that operation of ESP systems in all assets compliance with best practices and adherence to operation envelop. Prepare wells and ESP applications performance studies this includes providing suggestions for performance improvement.
  • Share in preparation and review, of ESP projects definition reports, conceptual study, FEED, and detailed engineering for all Assets. This includes preparing ESP procurement bid and tender management.
  • Run technical models to select type and defining operating envelop of ESP power drive.
  • Ensure implementation of ESP related design work standards, including design basis, specifications, and philosophies.
  • Review and verify ESP projects drawing and manage different interfaces with other projects disciplines.
  • Prepare required new projects ESP systems and manage procuring tenders, this includes vendor clarifications, evaluations, and FAT/SAT tests.
  • Follow up projects implementation stage and capture punch list, this includes attending projects meetings.
  • Responsible to carry out spare strings and parts availability, matching and compatibility study, in order to cover planned and expected break-down failures considering all different installed ESP string types, includes related cables, tubes, etc.
  • Prepare technical scope for procuring the requested material and/or services, this includes preparation of technical specification, scope of work, bid documents, tendering evaluation and delivery follow up.
  • Define ESP applications upgrading opportunities, considering the new technology trends, and existing installations upgrading.
  • Monitor and control material and equipment consumption this includes implementation of a material consumption optimization control system.
  • Monitor and follow up contractor performance with regard to contract terms and condition, this includes HSE requirement, staff availability, equipment validity, invoicing systems, employees payment schedules and work performance.
  • Regular visits to contractor workshop to monitor contractor performance, quality of the provided services, job reports and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare pulling hoists movement plans, retrieve DWS for artificial lift work-over activities and required equipment/parts.
  • Carry-out ESP simulation and equipment size/ selection before installation, this includes work-over material list.
  • Manage ESP performance data collection and carry out relevant surveys this includes down hole sensors data downloading and ESP controllers data downloading.
  • Provide all fields operation after installations well schematics and ESP operation envelop.
  • Prepare purchase requests to procure spares and materials as necessary and control the inventory of consumable, tools test equipment and lifting tackle. This includes considering of different scenarios.
  • Prepare ESP sting repair requests and verify after repair test results, this includes dispatching of failed equipment to contractor workshop.
  • Commission and test ESP systems if required.

  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
  • Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

  • Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures in order to support execution of the Sections / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
  • Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
Minimum Requiements
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Petroleum Discipline or relevant degree
  • At least 12years of experience, including at least 4 in ESP artificial lift applications
  • Relevant professional certification will be an advantage
