SPECIAL AIRPORT SYSTEMS ? SENIOR DESIGN LEADResponsibilities:

Review Value Engineering options proposed by the design consultants for feasibility and accuracy from a technical perspective
Provide necessary technical input and relevant information to Program Manager/other relevant functions to maintain compliance with codes and standards
Provide necessary technical input for local authority permitting process, NOCs requirements for all P&D projects
Ensure product, equipment and materials proposed for the projects comply with project specifications, international standards and local codes of practice
Provide timely alert and escalate the issues when necessary to avoid technical risks/deviations from plans.
Manage specific projects by providing lead role of CMA or 3rd party based on project demands in the event of non availability.
Assist the project manager with engineering review and approvals during the construction/delivery stages of projects [i.e. RFI?s, shop drawing review, material reviews and submittals, technical resolution, multidisciplinary review and co-ordination on live projects etc.]
Work with the Project Manager to assist with the transfer of final designs to Facilities Management/end users at the closeout stage
