Under the supervision of the Head Chef, the successful candidate will be supporting the management of the Italian Restaurant kitchen operations achieving business objectives through customer focused service delivery. Assist with co-ordination and the preparation of the menus. Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards. Assist with monitoring effectiveness of workflow and sequence of service during service periods and provides hands-on support as and when required. Determines the necessary competence for colleagues and provide training or other actions to satisfy these needs.The ideal candidate for this role should have previous supervisory experience in a reputable and authentic Italian restaurant, preferably within hospitality industry and with a recognized hotel diploma.The successful candidate should have an experience in running a busy kitchen operation and with an excellent knowledge of Italian cuisine. It is also essential that you have a good command of English language (verbal and written).Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety.
