The Senior System Engineer is a key offshore engineering position for Astoria Solutions. The position is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of RFID & SATCOM equipment.? The Senior System Engineer will need to plan and execute the elements of the job both onshore and offshore as needed.? Responsible for the installation and maintenance of RFID system & SATCOM setup on offshore platform.? Installs, configures and commissions the on-premise application server and database at customer site.? Configuring, debugging and supporting multiple infrastructure platforms.? Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible? solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.? Diagnoses causes of malfunctions or failures and performs preventive/corrective maintenance.? Be expected to gain an understanding of the technical and functional aspects of Astoria?s products in order to perform analysis for issue prevention and troubleshooting when necessary.
