About AIQAIQ is a new joint venture company between ADNOC and Group 42, which focuses on developing artificial intelligence technologies in the United Arab Emirates.   • Provide an expert interpretation for well geological data (well logs, formation micro imagers, thin sections, core) as an input for algorithms training
  • Assist in experiments to answer targeted questions
  • Analyze and judge the quality of machine-produced results and give valuable feedback targeted improvement of the current solution
  • Help prepare, visualize and present interim and final results of analyses
  • Translate business objectives into actionable analyses and insights
  • Provide support for customers in usage of developed AI solutions including trainings and masterclasses
  • Assist in the design and development of next generation AI-enabled software products for oil & gas clients
  • Contribute to the solution design in collaboration with data scientists and engineers
  • QA and QC of geological well data
Educational RequirementsMaster?s or PhD in Petroleum Engineering, Geophysics, Geology or GeoscienceExperience
  • 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas geology, petrophysics, lithology or petrography
  • 3+ years of thin section interpretation, core description, formation micro imagers analysis and evaluation
  • 3+ years of working with carbonate reservoirs (experience with Middle East assets would be a plus)
  • Experience in working inside or in collaboration with a production company or oil field services company etc.
Key Skills
  • Formation evaluation and well log analysis
  • Core description, CCAL, SCAL
  • Thin section analysis and interpretation
  • Carbonate geology (geology of the Middle East would be a plus)
  • Techlog (would be a plus)
  • Python (would be a plus)
