As part of our commitment to preserving our natural assets for generations to come, we have developed biodiversity plans to help protect the unique marine life and wildlife at the Al Nouf and Qusahwira oil fields.JOB PURPOSE :Provide technical expertise, in coordination with Field Development Division, for optimizing the value of oil and gas fields production and reservoir recovery through the introduction of real time dynamic modelling and effective monitoring to achieve balanced injection and production processes, including use of smart well completions to improve well surveillance.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:* Prepares technical background and summaries related to Digital Oil Field (DOE) concept for specific operational issues, as assigned. * Identifies and participates in the development of new technologies/solutions to improve operations practices. This includes evaluating the new technologies, selecting and recommending viable and appropriate solutions for implementation * Supports DOF programme related to rigless operations, testing and stimulation to ensure optimization of oil/gas producing wells, water supply and water/gas injection wells. * Participates in the commissioning and implementation of field trials. Includes monitoring testing activities, evaluating performance and operational results, drafting evaluation report and recommendations. * Survey the market and identify the most promising gas lift optimization techniques. Plan and implement pilots study for proof of concept and propose wide application if successful. * Identifies with the Petroleum Development units the use of downhole pressure, temperature, and flow rate and downhole control valve to support the DOF concept in all fields. * Provides necessary advice on remote monitoring, control and surveillance tools required for reservoir management and optimization of oil production, gas lift and gas injection. * Initiate project TOR (Terms of Reference) and SOW (scope of work) for DOF applications and Carry out technical evaluation for DOF projects. * Maps out key production management process and identify tools and data required to optimize process.*6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:*Minimum Qualification:* Bachelors degree in Petroleum or Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills* 10 years experience in petroleum engineering including workover, completion, well testing and production operations.
