Senior Specialist, CCA (Projects & Sustenance)

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:Contribute as a subject matter expert, liaising with Internal Audit teams, Group IT and Project teams to ensure the successful implementation of Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) projects, and the development and implementation of various CCA modules across the ADNOC Group. The role will be responsible for managing as well as hand-on CCA projects development, providing proactive controls and insights on the underlying information from SAP and other systems and present dashboards and applications to Head-CCA and Business teams. Lead development and collaborate with vendors for outsourced delivery, manage and execute projects. The development of this function will be to ensure that the excellence in audit is through audit analytics driven continuous assurance and is maintained and implemented across group to meet ADNOC strategic objectives.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design and implementation of Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) program to monitor controls (of detective nature) in various business applications for Internal Audit Function.
• Ensure necessary technology enablement to access, manipulate, and analyze the data contained in disparate information systems.
• Evaluate Data analysis and data visualization tools usage to support continuous auditing, from functional aspects like application features, tangible enhancements to the IA Function, critical POC evaluation etc. to technical aspects (along with the ADNOC Group IT Team) like compatibility with existing ADNOC IT infrastructure, information security guidelines etc.
• Identify the control objectives and assurance assertions and establish automated tests to identify activities and transactions that do not meet such control objectives;.
• Identify and implement various business insights in current business processes which could potentially lead to control gaps and process flaws.
• Ensuring development of automated dashboards facilitating business processes to capture the instances of error reduction and enable increase in operational efficiency; to support cost savings and reduction of revenue leakage.
• Maintain proficiency with the latest techniques and trends in the arena of continuous auditing/monitoring
• Develops project management practices by adhering to the methodologies (for example, Agile) and generate business value to the Internal Audit function
• Lead CCA projects for ADNOC Group Companies through the lifecycle phases to successful completion as defined by Internal Audit Function objectives.
• Providing project status reports to stakeholders and management by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Managing project change control processes; interpreting data to help towards issue resolution and risk management; and making recommendations regarding solutions to problems or issues.
• Coordinate with ADNOC IT and business team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the Audit and business functions
• Lead and collaborate with vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
• Ensure close co-ordination with CCA ? Sustenance teams to enhance the CCA projects and have robust solutions as outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor?s Degree in Business Analytics/Computer Science/Statistics or relevant discipline (Masters preferred)

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Business Analytics/Business Information Systems/Data Analytics/Data Science
• Proven experience of Data Analytics reporting and visualization tools like Power BI,Tableau/QLIK
• Experience in Data Science tools preferably Dataiku/Knime etc.
• Excellent Excel skills to Advanced level including pivot tables/charts, VLookups and VBA Macros
• Strong experience in working with reasonably large datasets in Excel/R/Python/SAS to derive meaningful trends, correlation in data
• Possess Techno-functional knowledge of SAP ERP modules
• Ability to summarize data and metrics, highlighting trends or issues and find exceptions/control lacks from large transactional data
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistics, including predictive analytics
• Experience of Visualization tools like Qlik Sense/Tableau/Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Experience in writing SQL scripts/Stored procedures and automating them with dashboards
• Strong background and keenness to work in the areas of (one or more) Advanced analytics, Machine learning and Advanced automation/ RPA
• Experience in managing and tracking time for different Internal Audit related activities.
• Experience in project management and managing internal development teams / outsourced delivery teams and coordinating with different stakeholders
• Proficiency in utilizing various business applications to gather/ verify information with guidance.
• High interpersonal skills in line with the Corporate Role that requires interaction with all levels of Management in ADNOC and the Group Companies.
• Ability to forward think and identify ways to drive efficiencies Audit and other regular tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
