The successful candidate will be responsible for showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge, and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service.What this job involves* Provide support to the cost and commercial leadership in the delivery of pre and post-contract services.* Manage project standalone, dealing with the client and taking ownership for delivery.* Assist with bids with new and existing clients.* Manage team resources, ensuring coverage for projects and profitability.* Use CostX, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs to an advanced level* Work pre-contract including; reviewing detailed measurements, sections of BOQs, handle tender query responses, manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage* Work pos- contract including; being strong in contract administration, comfortable on site walks with project teams, prepare cash flow reports, draft monthly payment recommendations and weekly commercial dashboards, managing variations and assist in closing out projects and claims / variations.Desired skills and experience for this* 8+ years of relevant experience are required* Previous experience managing teams and delivering large projects as a cost consultant is required* Strong Pre-Contract experience is required* Experience in mixed-use projects is preferred* BSc Quantity Surveying is required* MRICS is preferredWhat you can expect from usWe succeed together and believe the best inspire the best, so we invest in supporting each other, learning together and celebrating our success.
