Job Description

The opportunityProject: Mace are providing project management services on a large mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi. The site will have commercial workplaces and retail units along with the public realm. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and being accountable for your scope of work on the project.
  • Managing your subordinates in a professional, inclusive, and caring manner.
  • Establishing the project execution plan and supervising the relevant project team/parties to achieve these objections.
  • Managing matters in relation to Health, safety, and well-being on the project at all stages.
  • Managing the planning and monitoring of the progress of your project.
  • Preparing necessary project plans and keeping them updated and relevant over the course of the project.
  • Ensuring project budgets are managed.
  • Ensuring quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.
  • Managing relevant meetings and site walks and ensuring these are suitably recorded.
  • Managing by example working collaboratively and always in an inclusive manner.
About youYou have good project planning skills and understanding on both time and budgets, good knowledge of HSE rules and regulations and a proactive approach, suitable technical qualification relevant to the specific project/role, good skills in communicating and presenting, good commercial awareness, good project controls skills, good understanding of design processes and authority requirements to be able to lead forums with related project stakeholders, good understanding of industry best practice, you are a strong communicator and presenter, collaborator and team player always acting inclusively whilst leading by example, a strong leader able to persuade and influence teams, able to interface with clients and stakeholders at all times in line Mace core values, strong skills in problem solving, creative and innovative on proactive in utilising new technology and exploring a better way, mindful of Mace sustainability and social responsibility goals as you fulfil your role and make plans and decisions, and you will recommend ways to resolve any issues as they arise, will produce and manage accurate records for all project issues as required, will at all times comply with Mace processes and procedures and deliver our services in line with Mace core values, relevant major programme or stadia experience required.
