We know that it?s our people that differentiates who we are and what we do?and that is why we are keen to hire world class talent like you.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for the analysis, preparation, and delivery of enterprise / product-led / solutions requirements. You will plan tactical work by breaking down features and sizing with a team, identifying key components, work required and mapping dependencies. The role will ultimately be the go-to subject matter expert for product functionality for hospitality payments. This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the team, including working with product and delivery teams, as well as senior stakeholders.What you will do+ Creating, defining, and communicating requirements for new functionalities as directed by the product roadmap and guided by business architecture team+ Implementing the long term strategic roadmap to improve and innovate the way payments are delivered to merchants+ Work directly alongside technical, delivery and relevant project teams on technical documentation and delivery items+ Product requirements & delivery: working closely with business architects and engineers to ensure functional requirements meet the highest level of quality and are delivered in a timely manner to help the development teams understand what is needed when implementing products/features+ Driving and collaborating with technology teams and the solutions teams to ensure all gaps are closed in the delivery of a proposed solution+ Maintaining an excellent technical understanding of Planet products and solutions+ Acting as SME to control solution development to ensure it remains aligned to the original business ask by maintaining communications with the technology teams throughout the delivery lifecycle (tech design meetings, test artefact reviews, operations handover)+ Work with various steams to help define and map the desired events that enhance good customer experiences and neutralize negative ones+ Be the bridge, ensuring regular communication between sales and technical, risk and compliance, operational & financial teams to facilitate an efficient product lifecycle process+ Take responsibility for producing system demos for products, where relevant+ Where required assist in training and upskilling the product knowledge of relevant colleagues in the group through insightful product presentationsWho you are+ A Product Owner that has payments experience, preferably from the merchants side+ Experience in hospitality sector beneficial (not necessary)+ Previous experience working with acquirer and/or gateway+ History of working in a fast-paced environment (beneficial, not essential)+ Business case product delivery experience+ 2-3 years Product Owner experience and the ability to start, manage and deliver initiatives within tight deadlines+ Ability to take business requirement and translate them into detailed product specifications or enhancements.+ A natural at deep diving into the detail of complex delivery projects to assess risks and gaps that need to be defined before development or delivery begins+ Exhibit an analytical approach to complex problems, generating pragmatic solutions with consensus+ Knowledge of Jira & Confluence would be an advantage+ Ability to effectively communicate and work independently in a distributed environment with colleagues located in different geographical regions across various levels of departments and organizations to facilitate meetings with business and technical audience We don?t shy away from wanting to hire great people to deliver amazing things for our customers.
