Job Description

Work Location: Abu Dhabi With occasional offshore visit as per requirementsLeave Cycle:*150/30 (for single status) - single status accommodation provided*335/30 (for family status) - Family status is subject to the approval of Management after successful completion of probation period.Working Hours:Abu Dhabi: 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days a week)Offshore: 06:30 to 18:30 (7 days a week)Air Ticket: Round trip - Economy class provided (only for Employee)Contract Type: Contract HireFood: AUH Office - Subsidised Food will be providedSalary: AED 18,000 – 22,000 per monthQualification (minimum):Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMBA (Advantageous)PMP certified (Advantageous)Experience (minimum):*10 years relevant Mechanical experience of which at least 5 years in operations within the Oil & Gas Industry at Supervisory level or Managerial level*UAE Experience (Oil & Gas) – Minimum – 3 year (preferable)*GCC Experience (Oil & Gas) – Minimum – 3 years (preferable)Background: Contractor, Construction, Commissioning, Maintenance etc& Responsibilities:* The Senior Mechanical (Generator) Engineer shall have responsibilities as following tasks by providing cost effective, timely and efficient support, while ensuring the safety and in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.* To prepare bidding documents, evaluate bids, carryout clarifications, conduct meetings, review designs, engineering drawings, supervise the installation and commissioning activities related to gas turbine generators and compressor installation / replacement / operation & maintenance (but not limited to) of future and ongoing projects* To assess existing facilities remaining lifetime through the confirmation of existing generator system operational risksSpecial competencies:* Engineering experience (FEED & EPC), Generator engineering* Mechanical design, equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenanceJob specific requirements:* Strong knowledge and experience in the gas turbine generator engineering & installation (Mandatory)* Strong knowledge and experience in the application of process operation systems and technology in Oil & Gas sector.* Understanding of Mechanical engineering principles* Excellent understanding of whole system of gas turbine generator packages (electrical & rotating) and compressor* Understanding of any discipline engineering incl. process, piping, and instruments.Key area of experience:* Gas turbine generator packages (Mandatory)* Compressor packages* ADNOC project experience (Gas Turbine Generator Related)* Tender and contractAdditional requirements:* Engineering experience for new or replacement gas turbine generator and compressor project as an Mechanical (Rotating) Engineer* Work experiences as an Engineer in gas turbine generator and compressor OEM/vendor Company Profile TYCHE HR Consultancy is a leading human resource consultancy specializing in recruitment, sourcing, headhunting for permanent placements, outsourcing, local, and overseas hiring.
