Senior Manager, EIS & Aircraft Transfers Senior Manager, EIS & Aircraft TransfersLocation: Abu Dhabi, AESynopsisThe Senior Manager EIS & Aircraft Transfers reports to the Head of Aircraft Programs & Fleet Management and is accountable for the smooth Entry-Into-Service (EIS) of new aircraft types or heads of versions into Etihad Aviation Group. The position is also responsible for the transfer of aircraft between Etihad Aviation Group and third parties including all returns or exits to lessors or purchasers.Accountabilities* Leading and implementing new fleet technical capabilities to ensure service readiness for aircraft EIS. This includes logistics, Engineering, E-Ops, Operations, Training, Ground Ops and Technical Operations. * Performing program management control of new fleet EIS and transfer by means of a solid corporate based PMO * Acts as focal point for all activities regarding the new fleet EIS and phase in/out programs, in order to maintain the schedule and cost as per budget and identifying and mitigating risk to the program Accountable for aircraft transfer between Etihad Aviation Group strategic partners and/or EAG and third parties such as lessors or purchasers. * Apply lean and agile project management methods as appropriate to ensure that projects are managed in the most appropriate manner according to changing circumstances. * Coordinating with all departments to ensure that the requirements for aircraft transfer or sale contract are considered during contract negotiations. * Relationship management between key stakeholders during EIS or transfer/exit projects to ensure Etihad Aviation Groups interest and business relationships are protected. * Periodic reporting of progress of the project being managed by the team and keeping records of all major aspect of projects, including but not limited to project charter, communication, stakeholders, scope, cost, schedule and quality requirements against set processes or baselines. * Provide required guidance to the Project Managers in the team to perform their tasks effectively. * Ensuring a safe and secure working environment for Etihad employees. Promoting quality of work, safety, and security awareness.Education & Experience* University degree or equivalent qualification. Formal project management qualification preferred. * Successful track record in implementing large aircraft EIS and/or transfer projects. * 10 years job-related or project experience in the field of Commercial Aviation, Airline Operation and/or aircraft production oversight and delivery or aircraft transfer is preferred. * Ability to lead and implement new fleet technical capabilities to ensure service readiness for aircraft EIS.
