The role offers the opportunity to work with a high-calibre team in a sustainable environment with longevity on the table.Client DetailsOur client is an ADGM domiciled multibillion dollar independent asset manager. They seek to deploy capital into multiple liquid & illiquid asset classes across industry verticals and have a wide geographical remit.DescriptionOffer comprehensive legal advice covering the full spectrum of corporate transactions and investment activities engaged in by our client.Identifying legal issues of concern to the business and proactively develops effective legal strategies, mitigation actions and practical solutions in support of business activities.Support with corporate governance by preparing requisite board and committee approvals drafting resolutions, entity formations, etc.Monitor and provide support with various deliverables including but not limited to vendor agreements, LPAs, GP consents and service agreements.Provide legal review and support on commercial contracts as needed.Oversee and direct the engagement and work product of outside counsel.ProfileBe able & willing to relocate and work in Abu DhabiBe qualified in the UK, US or analogous jurisdiction and have a minimum of 6 years post qualification experienceHave spent at least 3 years working at a top tier international law firm before joining the in-house legal function of an entity in the financial sector.Have the ability to work independently and act on initiative to foresee potential issues for the business before they materialize.Have exceptional drafting and negotiation skillsHave strong stakeholder management skillsJob OfferMarket-leading compensation, opportunity to impact, visibility, huge progression & development opportunities.
