Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Senior Manager of Human Resources; Training; Knowledge Transfer will support and advise the future Museum Operating Body staff on all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process for the future Museum, including the development and refinement of job descriptions, recruitment ads, recruitment sourcing, screening of resumes, phone screens, interviewing applicants, compensation analysis, job offer discussions, and new hire orientation.Working with the project staff and other senior members of the institution, the Senior Manager will develop and maintain a detailed timeline for recruitment and staff onboarding leading up to the Museum?s opening.The position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining an applicant tracking system.In addition to the recruitment-related responsibilities, the Senior Manager will also be knowledgeable about the future museum?s benefit programs as well as museum policies and procedures. This position will also develop learning and development programs that will support staff training and the Emiratization initiative within the future.This will include designing, implementing, and/or organizing programs for: management training, new hire orientation, and, helping to organize training for department-specific functions such as visitor experience training, safety and hazmat training, emergency preparedness, IT software training, and other forms of professional development that will maintain international museum and Benchmark Museum standards.SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Eight to ten years senior HR generalist experience; in the museum or creative industries a plus.
  • Enthusiastic and positive; provides vision and inspiration, earning respect and trust, and mobilizes others to fulfill the mission.
  • Strategic innovative thinker; displays original thinking and creativity.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, flexibility and timely and thorough follow-up skills.
?Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professional demeanor at all times.
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality are critical.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are extremely important.
  • Foreign language skills a plus, particularly Arabic
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the execution of all Project recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviews, background and reference checks and the implementation of an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Manage the onboarding process of all foreign expats on the Project staff to the Abu Dhabi region
  • Consult with Museum Operating Body in the recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and terminating designated personnel in foregoing functions.
  • Support and advise the future Museum Operating Body on all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process for the Future Museum
  • Closely involved/lead/review the development of the Museum organizational staffing structure and employment policies and standards
  • Collaborate with an expert consultant that DCT recommends who would transform the key responsibilities into KPIs that will be part of the performance management system that will be used by the Institution.
  • Conduct and/or organize management and staff training programs, and provide coaching on both formal and informal levels.
  • Manage development of the Project Employee Handbook and learning, development, and training programs for the future Museum Operating Body staff
Serve as a resource and mentor for Project employees at all levels.
