Senior Gas Systems Operations EngineerGeneral Job Objective :•The Gas Systems Operations Senior Engineer is responsible for administering agreements with diverse contracting entities engaged in gas system-related functions for the client.•The Gas Systems Operations Senior Engineer is responsible for managing the gas safety framework initiatives and projects, overseeing risk management processes, establishing governance structures, and monitoring overall progress of initiatives/projects.Requirements:•Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in a middle or senior management job or specialized engineering consultancy in the gas sector.Knowledge:•Familiarity with the strategic direction of the energy sector (specifically the gas sector) in Abu Dhabi, knowledge of the objectives of the sector, the strategic direction of the Department and the requirements of key stakeholders.•Familiarity with the energy sector (specifically the gas sector) in Abu Dhabi, regionally and internationally.•Adequate knowledge of gas networks and transportation systems.•Familiarity with gas distribution infrastructure, operation, maintenance and monitoring.•Familiarity with regulatory functions.•Familiarity with the technical aspects of gas products trading.Job Location : : Abu Dhabi.Client : Government Entity.Type of Employment : Direct-Hire Employment
